1. I love to make lists.
2. I would like to open my own preschool someday.
3. I fear that I will never be completely happy, yet I don’t know why.
4. My husband and I decided we wanted to get married after knowing each other for roughly 3.5 months.
5. I want to be a stay-at-home housewife/mom, but I don’t think it’ll ever happen.
6. I go on cleaning binges when I’m nervous/angry/extremely stressed. And sometimes when I have excess energy.
7. I want to design my own house. I want it to be ranch-style, and have a large porch and yard.
8. 75% of the clothes I own don’t fit me. I’m praying that I’ll someday be able to back into a new wardrobe.
9. I sometimes think I set my standards for my life too high.
10. I usually feel very alone.
11. I have to follow recipes exactly, and I am very anal about it. Hence, I do not cook often.
12. Jack and I had a kitten (Arwen) that died in September 2008. I still cry when I see pictures of her.
13. I want to travel to all 50 states.
14. I have two tattoos, and want more.
15. My car’s name is Nesbit.
16. I rescued our African Dwarf Frog, Peanut, from a Teaching of Science class in November 2005. I’m honestly surprised he’s still kicking.
17. Lately, I’ve been sleeping for 20-40 minutes, then waking up and feeling like I’ve had a full nights sleep.
18. I absolutely loathe most things about my body, and most things I try to do don’t help.
19. I miss working my temporary teaching job in the city, even the long drive – except when it snows.
20. I don’t feel like I have very many friends, and I think I should start hanging out with more people I know, but don’t know how to go about getting people together. So if anyone ever wants to do anything, let me know.
21. I often search on eBay for things I know I can’t afford, such as DSLR cameras.
22. I wish I was a better photographer.
23. While I admire my mother’s ability to keep her house damn near spotless, I often feel inadequate because I did not inherit that ability. For the record, her house looks like no one lives there, aside from furnishings and decorations.
24. I usually act and speak before thinking, and I don’t know how to control it. 99.9% of the time my mind is absolutely racing with a plethora of thoughts. I think this helps to cause my insomnia. Because of this, I’ve always thought that I have ADHD.
25. My nephew’s giggle melts my heart and often makes me forget anything that is worrying me.
26. I get incredibly upset when something in our house breaks, especially if it was a gift.
27. I believe that our cat, Delilah, understands me when I talk to her. If I tell her to go lay in her bed, she usually will.
28. I don’t know if I made the right career choice, but I don’t think I’m good at anything else. I do love teaching.
29. I miss Melissa horribly, but I’m am thrilled that she’s finally found what she was looking for.
30. The TV show House fascinates me.
31. Some days I think I’d like to live in Vermont.
32. I almost moved to Maryland in 2006 for a job, but couldn’t afford to make the move.
33. I have a strong desire to play either drums or guitar in a band. I’d like to sing, but I lack the confidence even though I’ve been told my voice isn’t bad.
34. I don’t go to church. Not because I don’t believe, but because I don’t think that I have to go to church to have religion in my life.
35. I am horrible at folding laundry, washing dishes, and grocery shopping.
36. My mother-in-law understands me better than my own mother, or at least it appears that way.
37. I feel like I can’t remember any CSS coding.
38. I have high cholesterol. I’m trying to lower it through vitamins and a better diet.
39. I played basketball, volleyball, and soccer in elementary school. I should have stuck with at least one sport.
40. I’m addicted to shopping at Target, especially for clearance.
41. I have horrible OCD when it comes to matching items such as sheets and towels. I absolutely cannot stand when part of the set is missing and I have to use something that does not match.
42. Almost all of my Christmas ornaments are from Hallmark.
43. I started playing The Sims in college, as a way to escape from the stress of real life. I used to design myself and my boyfriend, and the house of our dreams.
44. While I don’t regret most things, I do regret how I treated some people in the past. You know who you are – and you’ll never know just how sorry I am. I hope it means something to you.
45. I dislike sweet potatoes and canned pineapple. That’s about it, as far as foods go.
46. Most people think I don’t like pepperoni. That is not the case – it just gives me a horrible stomach ache.
47. I get horrible heartburn. I’ve recently discovered that I think lactose intolerance/dairy allergies might be the cause, but I don’t know for sure.
48. My dream kitchen would have a red, black, and white color scheme, with top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances, an island, and a corner booth/table.
49. When cold/flu season rolls around, I often get hit very hard. I believe this is because my mother smoked around me all of my life. I still don’t know for sure if she smoked while she was pregnant with me.
50. Even with tons of food in the cupboards and in the freezer, I often feel like we have nothing to eat.
51. I once wanted to be a professional dancer.
52. I have PCOS. I’ve known this deep down since I was in about 11th grade, but didn’t get a diagnosis until I was 25. I’m worried that those 10 lost years will prevent me from having children.
53. Family Guy can cheer me up in most situations. If that doesn’t work, playing with the cat will.
54. I’m addicted to Animal Crossing, for both Nintendo DS and Wii.
55. If I had back all the money I’ve spent on video games and DVDs, I’d have enough money to last me at least 3 months.
56. I’d love to have a beagle pup someday. I’d rather have a beagle mix than a purebred.
57. I often contemplate going back to school, despite having a Master’s degree and four teaching certifications.
58. My favorite cereal is Banana Cheerios.
59. Sometimes I’ll search the internet for places I’d like to travel to, and plan the entire trip just to see how much it would cost.
60. I secretly get a thrill out of going to the grocery store and getting a really good discount on clearance items.
61. My cellphone is a Blackberry Curve 8320. I don’t know how to use most of the applications on it, nor do I need them, but I had to have it because it’s red.
62. I often feel inferior compared to Jack, and I think it’s because he has a bigger vocabulary. But somehow, I almost always manage to beat him in Scrabble.
63. I want to go to Disney World before I have kids, so I can do my own thing and experience it while I’m still a “kid.”
64. I was a cheerleader in college, after being in marching band in high school. It started out as a joke, but it ended up being one of the best experiences of my college years.
65. I’ve never been an outdoors person, but if it isn’t horribly hot and humid, I don’t mind sitting outside on the glider with a good book.
66. I’m currently taking Metformin for my PCOS. It can have some unpleasant side effects involving my stomach, and that’s all you probably want to know.
67. If I ever have a daughter, her nursery will have a ladybug/butterfly theme. If I ever have a son, his nursery will have either a frog or sea life theme.
68. I love Guitar Hero and Rock Band. No matter how much I play though, I never feel like a rock star.
69. Most of my Wii/Nintendo DS games are kid’s games. I love games with great graphics and bright colors.
70. I would work from home if I could.
